EPOXY / Polyamide Topcoat+Hardener (Solvent Based )
Description
A two pack epoxy polyamide cured protective coating which provides a high gloss, easily maintained surface for areas of high physical abuse and aggressive environments. Designed for use over Britone Epoxy Primer where resistance to water, alkalis, oils and solvents is required.
White, Grey , Green , Red Oxyde .
- ugh, abrasion resistant finish
- Excellent flexibility Outstanding adhesion to most surfaces
- High resistance to most chemicals
- Excellent durability
- will chalk on exposure to Ultra Violet light. This does not detract from other film qualities.
Britone Epoxy Polyamide Topcoat is a specialized high performance coating and requires sound substrate preparation to ensure maximum performance. All surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry, and free from all contamination such as oil, grease, rust and loose and flaking paint. All surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry, and free from all contamination such as oil, grease, rust and loose and flaking paint
Before application and during the curing process (12‐24 hours after application) the Surface Temperature
should be a minimum of 13°, optimum 18‐27°C, maximum 32°C. The substrate temperature should remain at least 3°C above the dew point. At constant humidity, a lowering of the temperature will bring the temperature closer to the dew point. For example, at a temperature of 23°C and the relative humidity of 65% the dew point temperature is 16°C and is a suitable application environment. If later in the day the temperature drops to 19°C, the relative humidity will increase and the application environment will no longer be 3°C above the dew point temperature and will NOT be suitable for application.
